Founded in 2003, Journeys in Film operates on the belief that teaching with film has the power to prepare students to live and work more successfully in the 21st century as informed and globally competent citizens.

 

Its core mission is to advance global understanding among youth through the combination of age-appropriate films from around the world, interdisciplinary classroom materials, and professional development offerings for teachers.

Washington International School

 

Washington International School (WIS) is a coeducational independent school (private school) offering 900+ students a challenging international curriculum and rich language program from Preschool through Grade 12.

 

In addition to their academic studies in mathematics, science, language, literature, social sciences and the arts, students learn how to be engaged global citizens. ReSAKSS

 

Established in 2006 under the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP), the Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System (ReSAKSS) supports efforts to promote evidence and outcome-based policy planning and implementation as part of the CAADP agenda.

 

In particular, ReSAKSS provides data and related analytical and knowledge products to facilitate benchmarking, review and mutual learning processes. It is facilitated by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), in partnership with the African Union Commission (AUC), the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA), and leading regional economic communities (RECs).
